Adding a new contact manually into the Shout Out! system allows the contact to be optionally added to one or multiple lists, and also provides the ability to send an email confirmation to that contact being added so that they may confirm their opt-in status and permission.

Contacts may manage their profiles and opt-in statuses from links that are automatically generated and included in the footer of all outbound email messages.

Contact profiles allow your contacts to view the lists that they are subscribed to, including dynamic lists, and determine their opt-in status for individual lists or all lists as a whole.
