A contact import utility allows you to import large numbers of email addresses and mobile phone numbers in CSV (comma separated value) format, whilst also selecting the list that the contacts are imported to.

Importing contacts that may have opted out previously is controlled through a reporting and re-subscription confirmation process. Unsubscribed contacts who are imported again go into a 'Pending Subscriptions' filter, which allows you to send a mass subscription email requesting the contact's permission to add them to the list. The email confirmation contains a link, which when clicked confirms the contact's subscription and adds them to the nominated list.
