Once a template has been created, you may choose to lock it so that modification to the template cannot occur.

Note that locking a message template does not prevent you from copying it or adding new content (articles) to the new message. The article management system in Shout Out allows you to easily separate your new message content (text/graphics), which are automatically inserted or assembled when the message is being sent.
