Triggers are Shout Out system functions that can either be initiated by an administrative user or site visitor, or from the system itself. Examples include a subscriber confirming their subscription or a site visitor completing a form response by clicking on a 'Submit' button. Events are actions that can occur, such as sending a mailout or sending an opt-in email confirmation, etc. So putting them together, Shout Out provides a triggered events system that enables you to automate and customise many of Shout Out's functions. |
